I just installed AfterLogic WebMail Lite for my mail server and the IMAP access works fine with new emails showing up as expected, but I cannot send any emails. Whenever I try to send an email I receive the following error:

An error occured during sending the message.

I have verified the SMTP server details and everything is set up correctly. My desktop email client with the same server info sends emails as expected.

To find out what's causing this, you need to debug the application. Enable logging in AdminPanel, make sure log verbosity is set to Debug level, reproduce the problem and check what's in the logs.

Typical reason for such issues is that hosting provider blocks standard SMTP port 25, trying with port 465 or 587 might help.
