I'm using the latest version (as of today) of AfterLogic Lite, i.e. the version where you get a separate (minimizable) compose window.
When using this client under Chrome (at Linux but also at Windows that I had to touch just for this experiment), the CPU-load easily go up to 100% when entering text in the mail-body (at a normal pace). The problem is not visible when using Firefox, where the CPU-load is more reasonable (maybe 20% at most). I'm not using very recent HW (more like core2duo CPU's), but the CPU-load when typing into this compose-editor should be almost zero, shouldn't it?
Is this a known behavior and is there a fix/setting (in Afterlogic or Chrome)?

We have checked this and we don't really confirm 100% CPU load - however, some load is expected indeed due to a large number of handlers used by the editor. We've checked that with other rich-text editors, including CKEditor and the one used in Atmail, using those increases CPU load too. We believe there's still some room for optimization here, and we're planning to research it in the near future.
