I am new to AfterLogic Lite. My first deployment was actually a few weeks.

What I am trying to do is enable the Signatures and Forward tabs under Settings > Email Account. Currently, only "Manage Folders" appears.

I have reviewed the system.xml file however found nothing relevant in regards to enabling the Forward and Signature tabs.

Any guidance is greatly appreciated.

The product supports personal signatures. To set it, user needs to switch to account settings, and select the identity for the account; each account has at least one identity, and for each of them, user can set different display name, sender email and signature.



Mail filters, forwarding and autoresponders are only available if you have Sieve functionality configured, that requires Sieve support enabled on mail server and ManageSieve agent running on that machine. A while back, I've posted a detailed explanation of this at:

Thank you, Igor. I did not even think to try clicking on an identity.

With regard to Sieve and ManageSieve, the documentation makes it seem these only run on a Linux MTA. I am running hMail on Windows Server so it does not appear this is going to be a solution that I can use.

Initially, this site gave me hope that MAYBE I could use Sieve but then I read "For this to work, MTA should have Sieve support enabled, and ManageSieve server needs to be installed in the system".

So, then, I performed the test outlined here to determine if Sieve and/or ManageSieve were already on my MTA and they were not. Then, I saw the ManageSieve download page and saw only Linux packages.

I understand you're referring to this one but it's not the only implementation out there, it's something we built for our own needs back in the days and chose to share with the community. But ManageSieve server is a concept of a software, not a specific software item.

Technically, nothing stops from implementing Sieve support and ManageSieve agent for mailserver on Windows, I haven't dealt with any implementations myself though.
