Hi,
I'm using kubuntu 13.04 with firefox and chromium browsers installed.
Firefox behaves as expected however Chromium appears to lock up although actually it just takes tens of seconds to respond to any user input (typing in the email and password fields for example). This happens with my own installation and your test installation at http://lite.afterlogic.com/
I've not seen this with any other website.

best wishes,
Tim.

Hm.... Pretty sure this isn't something caused by WebMail itself, I'm able to access WebMail Lite install with Google Chrome on Linux Mint which sounds like quite a similar setup. I'll give it a try on Chromium+Kubuntu setup and see if there are any issues there.

Looks like the issue is not confirmed over here. I've deployed such setup and tested it, and considering that the installation is accessed with TeamViewer and runs on virtual machine with minimal amount of resources assigned for it, performance is quite okay.

And by the way, it's not really fair to compare webmail client with other websites. I'd suggest to check how your system works with web applications which extensively use JavaScript, such as Google Docs.

Also, I'd recommend to check if you have some browser plugins enabled which might slow things down.

Thanks Igor, if it works for you that's great. I was just trying to help out.
