AfterLogic MailSuite

There are two versions of AfterLogic MailSuite: Pro and Lite.

Lite version is an open source multi-platform e-mail server distributed under GPLv2 terms. WebMail Lite is also bundled in this package under GPLv2 terms.

WebMail Pro (is bundled instead of WebMail Lite) is not open source product and distributed under AfterLogic Computer license. In other words, the entire AfterLogic MailSuite Pro bundle is distributed under AfterLogic Computer license, but some parts of the bundle under GPLv2.

AfterLogic MailSuite Lite offers SMTP, POP3 and IMAP services, multiple virtual mail domains and accounts, spam filtering, and lots of other features. AfterLogic MailSuite Lite is based on open source XMail server developed by Davide Libenzi (http://www.xmailserver.org/). The advantages of AfterLogic MailSuite Lite against original XMail are simultaneous multi-user access to POP3 mailboxes, configuring port numbers via config file, handy Windows installer, etc.
